2009 Girls are GLA Champions!

So this group battled all year-fall, winter , and spring to come out of their NPL season unbeaten. Battling the challenge of playing in a sports landscape still affected by CoVid with missing players, constant game reschedules, injuries , illness, and uncertainty they proved to be resilient and tough. A league season that began in August and concluded this past Saturday with only 10 available players for a game in Cincinnati they came out on top 7-0 (scoring 6 goals in the first half to put the game away). They went unbeaten in NPL play scoring 44 goals while surrendering only 17. For their efforts, they earned a spot in the NPL playoffs I’ve had many of these players for close to 4-5 years and I am so proud of the culture and hard working mentality that this team displays all while playing a beautiful brand of soccer. A huge thank you to the parents and the players for their commitment, patience, and trust to allow us to be a part of their soccer journey Congrats to the entire FC Evolution 2009 Girls -NPL/ Pre GA Team players and families. Attached is a picture of the girls who got it done yesterday. So proud of them We aren’t finished yet!! #FCEvolution
